The lyrics felt really powerful to me, and I knew they needed to be heard. I even sent this track to a live music review show, and one of the hosts loved it. But the other host was really mean — they laughed at me and said I was trying to sound like Cher or Madonna, and that it just wasn’t good at all. That honestly made me cry, and I ended up deleting the track and all my other videos on YouTube. I was about to give up. But then I saw it had 16,000 views overnight and received lots of positive comments. Since then, I’ve taken singing lessons, production courses, and I’ve been singing for years. Looking back now, I realize there were a lot of bad notes, auto-tune, and things that needed fixing — it wasn’t mastered at all. But for me to have done all of this on my own, without knowing exactly what I was doing, I think I did pretty damn well. This is why I started Live Music Reviews so that I can help build other in there carrer in music and they can help me without feeling sad and wanting to quit"**

I used to sing this to my kids almost every night, even before I had daughters — I just changed the words to say “daughters” instead of “sons.” I believe this is a beautiful song to sing to children before bed; my kids always loved it, and they still do. I wanted to share it with other mothers and fathers who might want to pass it on to their kids as well. but again not mastered and was still learning but i see improvement in every song.
